Public Service Announcement
If you see an ambulance behind you with flashing lights, pull over to the side of the road. Same thing with a police car, or a fire truck. Any kind of emergency vehicle. The person or people they are going to help might be someone you love, and it might be that every second counts. Yes, you might miss your turn, but that is nothing compared to the risk to someone's life. Besides, it's the law in most if not all places.
How would you feel if you read a story where someone's infant baby died because firefighters couldn't get to the scene because traffic wouldn't yield? I don't know about you, but I would be outraged. Now how would you feel if you found out that you were one of those people that didn't move over and let them by? I don't know about you, but I would be devastated.
If there's an emergency vehicle behind you, pull the fuck over and let them by. They might be going to the same place as you. They might be trying to save someone you know.
