New Bed!

Yay! Our new bed came today. Its a Serta queen size pillow top, and its COMFY. Only thing that sucked about it is that it came with a frame. Why does this suck? It sucks because I spent 2 hours in my bedroom last night, after I got home from work at midnight, putting together the bed frame and headboard that Monica's sister gave us. Had I known it came with a frame (we only asked for a support bar) I wouldn't have bothered. So I didn't let the delivery guys take apart my hard work, oh no... I had them take apart the new frame and leave it in the basement and put the new mattress and box spring on the frame I spent so long figuring out how to assemble. Damned if I'm going to let my hard work go to waste.

Tony helped me move the old mattress, box spring, and frame up to the carport, where it will stay until Monica puts it on Freecycle. I don't know why someone would want a broken box spring or a worn out mattress, but... she insists.

Ah well... time to try my new bed out.
