Its hard for me to think of a more stressful situation. I mean, I know there are, but I just can't think of any right now.
You see, it has snowed for about the past day or so, nothing big, especially compared to the snowfall received up North. Maybe we got an inch. We didn't get much. You can still see the grass in spots. But it was enough to put water in my basement a-fucking-gain!
Ack, I was rocking and staring again, sorry.
You see, the water by itself is not really that big a deal. Sure, the hose for the sump pump is all frozen so I have to use the wet/dry vac to suck up and then carry it outside and dump it. 12 gallons of water at a time at 7 pounds per gallon gets heavy. But like I said, its not just that. Its more of the fact that Tony and Sherrie are trying to come down tomorrow, on Sunday. The plan was that they would sleep in the playroom, which has been pretty much emptied. Still is, except for the fucking WATER!!!! And we are supposed to watch Kim and Patrick's dogs starting tomorrow too... Guess where they are going to stay? If you said in my basement, you're right!! And to top it all off, we've had the boys stuff emptied out of their bedroom for 3 days now because we were expecting some bunk beds to be delivered, only to find out that we really don't know when they're coming! (Hope that made sense.) So all the boys stuff has been stuffed down into DeAnne's room, the only "spare" room we had. So right now, I don;t know where Tony and Sher will be sleeping, except maybe on the couches... And if I'd had a day off in the past 2 weeks I might not be this bothered by it... But oh well...
